Never let anyone do your thinking for you. Not your
friends. Not your church. And not your government.

L.C. Evans is a mystery writer and homemaker who, like the majority of
Americans, used to believe it was illegal to import cheaper labor on
work visas to take jobs from Americans. Then her husband and his
co-workers lost their jobs to workers imported on H-1B visas. The
imported workers are earning about half what the Americans had been
earning. The Americans were forced to train their replacements in order
to receive severance.
Thus, a book was born.
The publishing of Jobless Recovery was financed by severance money
received by L.C. Evans’ husband from his former employer.
L.C. Evans currently lives in
the United States.
